Legacy plans vs credit-based plans

Starting on September 4, 2025, all new Netlify accounts will use the new credit-based pricing plans. Check out the Credit-based pricing plans docs or the Billing FAQ for Credit-based pricing plans.

If you’ve created your Netlify account with a Free, Starter, or Pro plan before September 4, 2025, then your pricing plan is now considered a legacy pricing plan. No action is required of you and you will have the option to switch to a credit-based pricing plan in the near future. You can check if your pricing plan is a Legacy or Credit-based plan from your Netlify team dashboard. Learn more about Usage & billing and how to check what type of Legacy plan you have.
